When this news story first broke, I saw many Asian Americans assume that it was only Mainland Chinese who were offended, so it was dismissed as glass hearted Chinese throwing a temper tantrum. Days later, surprise surprise those same bootlickers realized that even Japanese and Koreans are offended, so now they're changing their tune and saying the character is racist.

I am pretty sure that’s not how it works. Paint by itself does not work as a sealant.
