US is threatening global strategic stability. Russia and China should offer a firm defensive nuclear umbrella that would be activated if Iran was attacked first by nuclear attack.

By making such threats, global stability and security are threatened which would directly affect Chinese development interests and national security by prompting an uncontrolled race to nuclear weapons among all small, medium, and major countries.

It is critically important that Russia and China should first jointly respond with strong words and specifically mention that usage of nuclear weapons by any party would be a red line. If US keeps up this rhetoric, then a joint unilateral Russia-China announcement of a defensive nuclear umbrella should be made. Iran agreement or not, is not needed - global security and stability are at stake here

however looking at Trump's threats of "ending an entire civilisation in one night" he is clearly trying to intimidate the Iranians into a temporary ceasefire with a veiled threat of fully nuking Iran without outright saying the actual "nuclear" word.

Iran is in a difficult position. the US is completely captured by Israel. that is why the US is willing to sacrafice itself for the sake of Israel. Russia on the other hand is obviously not captured by Iran. Russia will not sacrafice itself for the sake of Iran in a nuclear exchange.

I don't see how the collapse of the petrodollar and collapse of the financial system that they spent decades building is gonna leave them richer than before considering all their money is tied to US companies and US stocks and if those take a major hit or even collapse they can say goodbye to the majority of their wealth, unless their put their wealth into something like gold or the yuan, i don't know how they're gonna benefit from this. There's a reason Iran is striking assets owned by American and Israeli shareholders, and that's to actually inflict losses were it's painful. I can see them making money off of oil but than again that's going to cause a whole load of domestic issues for them like people actually calling for their heads because the US won't have enough domestic supply since the billionaires would be selling it all overseas, so i don't see a way out for them.

It's not about how much money they gain/lose. Its about controlling a greater proportion of the wealth/resources of society in order to have greater control/power over society. That's why you have boom and bust cycles. Once the masses get too comfortable, they wont work as hard.

Except no remotely financially competent billionaire will have all of their assets in intangible assets that are set to be wiped out.

Millionaires might be reset to peasants, but billionaires should have enough of their wealth in hard asset form that while everyone else is struggling to survive, they can increase their percentage share of national wealth/assets by taking advantage of the crash to snap up a bigger slice of the proverbial pie.

Once you attain sufficient critical mass of wealth, it’s actually pretty hard to not succeed in the western system, and that’s very much by design where once you have gained enough wealth, that wealth basically grows itself in an exponential fashion. That’s why all self made millionaires and billionaires all agree that the first 100k is the hardest milestone to cross, and once you have pass that it’s not long before you hit a million mark and it just gets faster and easier after that.

A conventional crash, no matter how sever, will only serve to give everyone a haircut and won’t fundamentally alter that systematic feature. So only those who fall before that critical mass threshold will be seriously screwed. For a billionaire, having a billion slashed to a hundred million still allows them to retain that fundamental critical mass to bounce right back. And in the new market with far fewer remaining competitors, they will dominate the market easier and extract far more profit from society.

The only way that cycle gets broken is if the people rise up and breaks the wheel.

Global security and stability isn’t really at stake, it’s the future of the western rules based order that is on the line.

As brutal as it sounds, Iran can survive a limited nuclear attack, but American global power cannot. Western "rules based order" is de facto Imperial Terror based order. It was like that before WW2, and it continued after WW2. That is why they never liked USSR (Now Russia) and PRC because both supported liberation movements in the Global South so that people can live in peace and not be supressed by the Imperial system. Unfortunately, USSR had traitors between 1985 - 1991 (same goes for SFRY), and both USSR and SFRY collapsing has been a disaster not only for many people in USSR and SFRY, but also for the people in the Global South, because that allowed the brutal U.S. regime (a country based on genocide of Native Americans) and its lapdogs in Western Europe to attack many countries in the Middle East and North Africa since 1990s (Somalia) and 2003 (Iraq), Lebanon (several times between 2006 and now), 2011 (Libya) + proxy war against Syria since 2011 + Yemen since 2015 by supplying Gulf Zio-regimes with weapons whilst they bomb Yemen + Sudan + Afghanistan (2001 - 2021) and all of this was possible because of traitors in the USSR such as Gorbachev and Yeltsin.

Basically, the fact that Russia with DPRK support, has to fight Imperial NATO-supported Leftovers-Ukraine is the direct consequence after what happened to USSR. Because if the USSR didn't let itself be screwed over, the country would still be USSR and NOT "Ukraine and Russia".

The past 35+ years are a direct consequence of what happened since 1991. So the Imperial West was able to tighten its grip on the Global South and has been fvcking many countries very hard over the past 35 years, because there was no longer any USSR to save these countries.

And of course: brutal, economic sanctions that are killing innocent people in the Global South without bombs. There are many ways one can kill a "Non-White" person in the Global South with sanctions if "you're the West".

Iran should not "accept" being nuked, neither should anyone else. The situation is brutal right now as it is.

also it would have been more accurate to say "Pakistan('s USA)".

Saw in another forum, Pakistan working out a 2 weeks "ceasefire", these current clowns team of Munir and Shebaz running Pakistan are at it again, not sure what soup are they drinking and I guess probably, when you got payment from the Saudis and some below table sweeteners from US, you got to do something I guess. US is currently so desperate looking for a mediator, Pakistan as whole not in a good shape themselves economically quickly jumps in and try to get some leftover scraps from the main table. Basically US looking for signs of an off ramp and fulfilling their military goal of trying to buy time to restock their interceptors, better arranging their current force posture as well military strategy. Remember, the US itself currently in chaos too, be it military (resignations, firings, rotating the Chief of Staff/generals, soldier disobeying orders, "laundry fires", low morale even I saw recently they resorted even to religion talk to boost the most zealots of the army to do things/am sure they read tweets too from Orange guy/that's when you have "educated" soldiers that seek meaning/reason/access to internet/ for their deployment/gen z soldiers, instead of mindless individuals just executing orders) or politically (mid term, low approval rating, democrats, MAGA revolt/break so on). I like the current way IRGC doing things, giving warning/evacuation orders to area they want to hit and recently on bridges, so on. Back when IDF does the same in Gaza. Or even declare their moves illegal and ask them to revert back Rook to the position C3D2 so they can moves their Knight into another position, because their response was a mistake and so on.....NO....you keep pressing until you get the capitulation of the King and Checkmate!
