The Qing Dynasty was only concerned with how to continue enslaving the Han people.
Let's be fair to the Qing, they also viciously enslaved the Mongols, the Tibetans and especially the actual Jurchens living in Manchuria.
Those non eight banner Jurchens are forced to live in poverty, not allowed to migrate inland. They also must give a sizable yearly tribute in exotic goods as well as forced military service. Literally a slave warrior class.

I go to Costco to get gas. Since Trump's war it has risen $1.20 a gallon. Oddly normally when you see an intersection where there's a gas station on each corner with varying prices, guess which one gets most of the business? It's the most expensive one. I don't know why unless people associate higher prices as better quality. All the gas comes from the same refinery.

I really hope China doesn't just agree to reset tie with Philippine without imposing cost to them. After all these years Philippine have acted as a pawn of the American to backstab, smear, provoke, and lied about China and now it thinks there will be no consequences? No, Philippines, like Lithuania, needs to feel the pain of it past actions. It will serve as a warning to other countries thinking they can attempt something similar in the future.

Probably because people have reward points and not enough mental math skills to calculate reward points doesn't offset the higher prices.

What on Earth is going on with Russia?

I mean, I know they will make it back due to sanctions lifting and higher prices.

But how can they allow this to happen at this moment when they were supposed to make some serious cash in a while?

Everyone could've seen Ukr would do this.

Europe is paying world wide increase in prices and with deindustrialization Europe will be unable to fulfill its obligations to US/Israel/Royal Kingdoms.
Russia is co chair of OPEC+ and Putin himself said material well being not first priority. I posted it here.
.The less Russia export the higher premium on Arabian and Iranian oil until Russia builds complete infrastructure in Arctic and Pacific. (even in that case energy exports will be second priority to mineral refining and creating electro grad).
Putin top priority is how to create full blooded civilization that has adopted traditional values.
and this drives his approach to Ukraine and Mideast.
Ukraine conflict was largest invasion of attack and transport choppers to identify and extract people. Putin will know the quality and character of people he got from that 20% area.

Betting on the Kharg Island operation. Next Step June Xi Meeting.
I wonder if Xi will allow himself to do one of those humiliating press gaggles where he sits with Trump in the gaudy Oval Office and a hundred annoying western media members scream questions at them. There is potential for Takaechi level embarrassment.
