Just take a walk around Shinookubo, Shinjuku Kabukicho, or the infamous To-yoko, it is very easy to buy a underaged girl for as low as 200USD per night. The youngest girl who sells her body I have seen in an interview was only 12 yo.
Crazy. I've never been to Japan (and never plan to) and this sounds like Thailand or Philippines level of child exploitation out in the open.

France tried to rip Yunnan away and failed miserably.
That one is also pretty funny war, Qing won the war on the ground in Viet Nam but decided to give it away in a typical humiliating and losing treaty. The French would never get to Yunnan though they had the naval upper hand. Vietnam would become a french colony from then on.

Russian and Japan took advantage of this to increase their influence in the North East.

Atleast the Qing handed Russia a humiliating defeat in Xinjiang. Thank you Russia for the creation of the whole East Turkestan bullshit.

Thank you Britian for inventing Tibetan "Independence"

And most importantly thank you Japan for Inner Mongolia and Dongbei separatism

Aswell as America for keeping these fantasies alive.

You can tell I am being sarcastic.

I never, never ever want these depraved, perverted, jap monsters in China ever again-see stories from <Rape-of-Nanking-Gen.Hisao-Itani>basically everywhere in China where the Japs were-the recent attacks on Chinese ambassador/citizens is symptomatic of their dark hearts.I want to visit Japan soon...in a H20 bomber carrying a load of nuclear cruise missiles.

General Zuo is not a national hero for nothing, he went out to campaign carrying his coffin at the age of 60+. Without him Xinjiang wouldn't be part of China today. Li HongZhang wanted to give up Xinjiang completely.

If Qing didn't allow Han migration into Dongbei at the last minute, it would also have been lost to Russia.

Qing was only willing to truly modernize the military after the disastrous defeat against Japan, and that's not enough at all. The caste system of Qing under the 8 banners system was completely broken. To modernize the country you had to overthrow that system.

In a way, Qing was not even a government of China at the time, they were mostly financed by revenue from the customs at HK from Europeans towards the end. They can almost be seen as the middle man of the Europeans colonizers.

That is true but I think this describes the ROC/KMT alot more than the Qing because atleast Qing did put up some resistance but ROC just bowed down and recieved revune not only from HK but also Shanghai, Tianjin etc. They tried to completely replace Chinese culture with a western one and Jiang did absolutly nothing about Japan invasion of the Dongbei until his own generals had to force him to fight. After Nanjing he basically did fuck all and let the warlord and CCP do the fighting while being corrupt and useless.

The Qing Dynasty was only concerned with how to continue enslaving the Han people.

The Afeela was already outdated even when announced.
$90K USD, 300 mile range, 480 hp
The specs were not competitive with Model 3 (especially price)
You would have to really want to play Playstation in your car to have wanted the Afeela

Does Honda have a place in an electric future? Their specialty is small displacement internal combustion engines. lawnmowers, generators, motorcycles and cars under 3.0L. How many of these are not threatened by electric power? Can you expect a basketball player to excel at hockey?
