This story reminds me of older stories of Chinese hijacking inside China.

Those were rare stories, but usually what happens in a Chinese hijacking of a passenger plane, the crew is taught and instructed to fight on the spot. That was the policy apparent back then.

I read about it, and only saw one picture in my entire life about that. All I remember seeing in the picture was the standard airplane seats with some passengers, and the flight attendants, two guys and two women going after someone who was surrounded so we did not get a good view of the fight.

It was kung fu fighting in the sky.

So when they did not provide details of what happened to that would be assailant, then we can only speculate on what happened to him, as he was apparently turned over to local authorities.

For that to happen, how was the assailant subdued?

:D
Apparently our JGSDF second lieutenant in this story climbed up to the 4th story of a building next to the embassy, climbed out the window and jumped over the wall aiming to grab a tree to stop his fall, only he either missed the tree or didn't grab it properly. Whatever the case instead of doing an assassin's creed he hit the ground and broke his leg, so don't think he actually put up much of a resistance.

If this isn't rooted in Japanese militarism and thus serious matter it would have been hilarious in a Mr Bean sort of way.

That'd be way too risky. Iran doesn't have nukes, and the Orange Man would absolutely nuke them if Kushner got killed. Plus, the Dems and the US media wouldn't push back on it at all.
I would originally have thought that too, but not anymore. I don't think Trump is holding anything back; if there was anything he could do to fold Iran, he would do it. If he's not doing it, it's because it's so stupid none of his generals would let him.

These few days have taught me that the instinct of restraining oneself to deescalate with the West is wrong. They don't speak that language. Hold yourself back and they will unleash themselves onto you; unleash everything you have unto them and, held back by the damage they've taken, they will attempt to calm down and negotiate with you. The only way to deescalate with the West is to be so savage to them that they fear you.

It'd be hilarious if Iran pulled a USA, told them to send Vance, Kushner and Whitkoff to negotiate, then killed them with a missile/drone ambush LOL

And the funniest part would be the US reaction, which would be to call Iran an immoral monster for killing negotiators! 100% they would do it with no self-awareness of casting stones from a glass house.
Would be better if they requested Rubio and Elbridge Colby*. These two are the current Pompeos. Also, Hegseth is just a joke and it would be better to leave him around to screw things up more.

*Colby's grandfather was the CIA director during the end of Vietnam and was ousted for losing the war. Colby obviously wants to take on China to "avenge" his grandfather

Spreading misinformation on landing site prior to actual amphibious landings have been practiced since the second world war, and the last significant one was the landing in Kuwait during Gulf war.

The actual landing by US or US-Israelis forces could be anywhere other than the 2 Iranian islands mentioned in previous pages. They could land on places closed to Arab lands like Iraq or Kuwait for close proximity fire and logistic support, or even at the choking point of the straits to force unblocking, or places at the coast of Arabian Sea close to Pakistan which would make re-supply and rotation of troops easier.

War is also about deception, and US has demonstrated that by attacking Iran while negotiation was carried on.
Given the logjam for face-saving de-escalation anyways, it would align with Trump and Hegseth to attempt raids on one or more nuclear sites.

Trump and co. didn't act in good faith in previous negotiations; why would the Iranians trust them this time?

The US must first make concessions as a gesture of good faith.

You can't return to status quo ante bellum when you've killed Khameni's father and other relatives. They have effectively turned Khameni the Younger into Ingio Montoya.

Well, Kushner is clearly willing to nuke Trump. It would align for Israel to take out the negotiators on the off chance the US and Iran actually meet, particularly Vance, and of course blame it on Iran.

220 Tons! $650M rare earth for 90 US F-35s seized. Are these traitors insane? (English caption available)

President Xi Jinping was absolutely right that the biggest threat to China is none other than corruption and I think Chinese is the only race with the most tendency on jeopardizing its own kind compare to others which I hope such retardation would end with the current young and future generations of China
Death penalty for cucks.

This is just fire, the west outdid Russia propaganda wise, but Iran is lapping the west/zionists as far as hearts and minds go.

For anybody wondering,

This is supposed to be Baal, the biblical demon which required child sacrifice, whom many Jews worshipped historically. He's been referred to in modern day in association with the West's obsession of targetting children in war and with Esptein-like cases.

Marcos open to reviving stalled PH-China oil, gas talks

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said he is open to resuming discussions with China on a joint oil and gas project in a disputed area of the South China Sea, adding that the conflict in the Middle East may serve as an impetus for progress in the talks.

Marcos and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed in 2023 to restart talks on joint oil and gas development, but these have stalled for years.
“That’s something we’ve been talking about for a great deal, but territorial disputes are getting in the way of that,” Marcos said in an exclusive interview with Bloomberg News on Tuesday.
“Maybe this [conflict in the Middle East] provides impetus for both sides to come to an agreement,” he added.

When asked whether there needs to be a “reset” in the Philippines’ relationship with China amid geopolitical tensions, Marcos said, “It’s certainly going to happen.”

The Afeela 1 was to feature 40 sensors — including 18 cameras, one LiDAR, nine radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors — with an EPA-estimated range of approximately 300 miles. It was to be priced from $89,900.
Just weeks ago, the company was still operating as though deliveries would begin in California before the end of 2026.
