I don't see any reason to get angry that Japan is doing this.

China has very little influence in Japan, who only listens to the US.

Let them spend money on rearming, mostly by buying expensive US weapons.

Let them spend money giving trump 550$ billions dollar protection money.

The more they waste in those areas the less they have to invest in other areas and the more they lose competitiveness.

I find they they are happy they make these public changes which can irritate Chinese people. I suspect the Chinese leadership is more sanguine. They will mention how Japan is going back to their fascist past but otherwise will just continue along.
It's not that easy for Japan to re-arm by buying big items American weapons, especially air defence, missiles and jets, the US stockpile of RE is dwindling fast, them newly rolled out F-35s doesn't even have radars on it, they will use every ounce of RE to replenish their own depleted stockpiles wasted on Iran
Japan can't rearm by themselves either, they ain't getting any RE from China.

BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said at a regular press conference on March 24 that on the morning of March 24, a man claiming to be an active-duty officer of the JSDF forcibly broke into the Chinese Embassy in Japan by scaling the wall. The man admitted his actions were illegal and threatened to kill Chinese diplomats in the name of so-called "gods." China is deeply shocked by this incident and has lodged a strong protest with Japan. China demands that Japan immediately conduct a thorough investigation, severely punish those responsible, and provide a responsible explanation to China.

Oil/Gas some of the highest paid jobs in the industry. so highly unlikely share price can go up since oil at $100 is still lower than Oil at $140 in 2008 dollars and this is the area Russia was targeting for robotization before Ukraine took industrial priority and there is element of import substitution that slow down the process. i doubt these private firms can compete with state backed firms in developing resources. the time line and skill set simply not there now.

This is what happens when the greatest social experiment in history decides to run a war against one of the most successful civilizations in history halfway across the globe.

When trillions can be created or destroyed in the blink of an eye from fake news, that tells you all you need to know about how substantive and concrete western hyperinflated GDP are and how useful it is as a measurement of national power.

The original intended, and only legitimate purpose and function of a stock market was to allow investors to pool and allocate capital to support promising new business ventures.

But as soon as western governments allowed stock markets to de facto create wealth and capital out of thin air, they effectively made it into a shadow central bank far more powerful than the official real one. With none of the oversight, controls and responsibilities of the real one and driven by the single objective of creating wealth with a single value of greed is good, what could possibly go wrong?

Btw I noticed how suddenly all that talk about how China was gonna get really hurt by this Iran war just magically vanished.

I'm reading stuff like how China doesn't need that much oil, how it's solar and EV industry means less oil needed etc.

I wish they would take some accountability for what they say. But it will be memoryholed and they will continue to talk crap without any consequences.
