For years, the U.S. was trapped in legislative gridlock, unable to pass new laws.

Now, polarization is degrading executive capacity too, to the point that basic agency operations are being disrupted and dysfunction is a daily problem.

I think the US will end in max 3 years. Huge chance Trump is the last president.

We already have shady paramilitary groups like ICE, and state-federal standoffs.

It was said that the firetruck intruded onto the runway while the aircraft was landing on the same runway despite being warned by air traffic controllers to stop several times.

They didn’t intrude. The fire crew requested permission to cross and the ATC granted it. Then about 6 seconds later the ATC told truck one to stop several times. Looking at the footage and audio.

Truck 1 may have already been deep in a turn by the time ATC gave the order to stop. Then factor human reaction time while being deep into a turn. I am not sure there was enough time to avoid a collision

Yes, which I've indicated in my follow-up post:
Recording of ATC communication at the time of the accident - The firetruck was instructed to stop from entering and crossing the active runway multiple times after being initially cleared to cross the runway.

In addition, it has been pointed out that the REL lights for the runway, which is meant to indicate that the runway is active (hence, no outside vehicle should enter) is actually on and illuminating at the time of the accident aircraft's landing. By protocol, the firetruck crew weren't supposed to enter the runway even with ATC clearance (and they should also contact ATC for clarification, which did not happen in this case).

Also, the initial clearance given by ATC to cross the runway was given to not just the accident firetruck (Truck 1), but also the airport fire department company (i.e. more than one vehicle), which are visible on the footage some distance behind Truck 1 with all their emergency lights on. All those vehicles behind Truck 1 came to a stop a good couple seconds even before the accident aircraft entered the video frame, whereas Truck 1 kept on moving during those few seconds until only when the accident aircraft entered the frame that Truck 1 started swerving to avoid it.

Pakistan is representing also China’s interests in backdoor diplomacy between Iran and the US, Pakistan represents Irans in the US, they have an Iranian section within the embassy in DC, the chances of getting out of this is raised because the power of Xi is also being added, the Yanks want out, the Israelis are the wildcard they want the war to continue and are doing everything including trying to sabotage the talks, according to Pakistani sources the MSS and the ISI have intel that the Israelis are trying to infiltrate and or may try to harm the Pakistani interlocutors.

In addition, it appears that the ATC on duty at LaGuardia at the time is having a pretty heavy workload in a very busy airport (allegedly working alone).

Daylight at La Guardia International Airport at the crash site. Notice the size of the firetruck involved relative to the accident aircraft.

Why was he overworked?
That the US government has not been paying ATC's

Note this article is from November
So incompetent/corrupt government officials have now officially killed people
Will the head of DOGE/FAA/various congress-critters be held responsible and be punished in kind? (yes, that was sarcasm)

The accident aircraft is a CRJ900, which is a regional airliner and certainly not a big aircraft. Notice how close the aircraft's nose is to the ground (and its relative size to the ground vehicles in front, shown here with another Air Canada CRJ900):

I thought it was taxiing. Fault was of control tower, according to the released audio: truck requested permission to cross, controller gave permission then later told to stop (after realizing mistake).
Edit: in the longer audio version, the controller admits his fault.
