When they bombed the peace negotiations, after inviting the Iranis in Qatar last year, whatever little trust they had went out the window. Add to that, recently the Irani ambassador to UN was threatened by US inside the UN GHQ. I think even if both sides wanted peace, the idea of negotiations was simply thrown off the table indefinitely by the Americans.

Every country should have a nuke to protect against the country who has a history of detonating them on civilian city centers.

Nobody knows where Greater Israel starts and ends. The whole colony was started from a fabrication and they can fabricate anything to include into Greater Israel.

I suggest you actually listen to some Israelis, especially their clergy and politicians, about what they include into this concept - some go as far as Afghanistan, claiming the Pashtuns are Israelites, others include Mecca and Madinah due to Jewish presence there once upon a time, some include Yemen due to the Jewish Himyar Kingdom that once ruled there, some claim Ethiopia due to Beta Israel. Give em an inch and they'll take a yard; bet they'll also want Henan one day because of the Kaifeng Jews.
Exactly. They must not be allowed to gain control of Arab oil deposits and strategic depth. If you think they are aggressive, insidious, and dangerous now, just imagine what they can achieve then. Anyone advocating letting them expand their territory needs to get a reality check.

I think Iranian AD has gone full guerrilla mode. They are not meant to provide systematic defences against enemy attacks as traditional AD would, instead it looks like they are just in pure hunter-killer mode aiming to hit any air targets they can.

I suspect that they are operating purely passively for the most part, relying on thermals for passive detection and also guidance for their interceptor missiles.

It’s a largely luck based approach that can be boosted with goo geography knowledge and educated guesswork, but it will be incredibly resilient to traditional SEAD and DEAD tactics while also given Iran a solid chance to shoot down even stealth fighters like the F35.

The key limitation to this tactic seems to be the missiles themselves, which appear relatively slow speed, probably owning to limitations in sensor and/or processor capabilities.

This means that MAWS is of utmost importance, as that’s the only warning fighter pilots are liable to get other than chance eyeball spots.

If MAWS spots the incoming missiles, the fighters should be able to easily escape engagement due to the slow speed of the missiles, but fighters without MAWS will be especially vulnerable in this threat environment. So low to minimal chance against F35s, but much better odds against F15s.
Iran has always had that in mind I think. They have domestic produced systems that are truck mounted and use IR guidence and EO for target finding (think HQ-7 or Crotale). They're not intended to achieve air superiority but instead attempting air denial. In last week's livestream Ayi said after the 12 day war last year one of the way IRGC has been preparing for this war is they started producing more of this type of GBAD.

things must be going well.
They are also trashing private CCTV's cameras. Also going to do wonders in a place where they don't have respect and consideration for each other, lol

funny how everything that doesn't have their aproval or they aren't the ones getting it becomes "illicit".
How would they use an AAM without a fire control radar? How do Russians do it?
They are using the old stocks of IR R-60M

But what are they targetting? Drones don't have much eat especially if driven by propellers, and F-35, already with low RCS, probably won't give much heat from frontal view.
Ukranian Helicopters and prop planes sent to hunt the Gerans. Similar concept when the Ukranians used R-73 on water drones but on a flying one.

“We Are Wise People, Not Butchers…”

The former Prime Minister of Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani of Qatar said:

"The United States initially wanted an uprising so that Qatar and other countries in the Middle East would enter into a war with Iran because of the attacks Iran carries out on U.S. military bases located in those countries. Doing so would give the U.S. the opportunity to sell large quantities of weapons, while we Muslims would end up killing one another.

After we and Iran destroy ourselves, the United States would then support Israel in establishing what they call “Greater Israel,” which they aspire to create.

Indeed, disagreements have arisen between us and Iran because of the attacks it carried out in our countries. However, the fault is also ours, since we are the ones who allowed the United States to establish itself in our countries, and it is using us to attack Iran.

We will never enter into a war with Iran, God willing, because they are our Muslim brothers."
