I think the issue for Iran will be delivery rather than bomb making. If they can't nail miniaturization to fit the warhead on to one of their BMs then it's all pretty meaningless.

If they can comfortably lift 1 ton of conventional explosives on their existing missiles, that's not a problem for them.

I think that's partly why they released the "all our missiles going to Israel will have at least 1 ton of payload" message earlier

Have it on good information that oil price shock scared the daylights out of US administration (naturally), aligns with the reporting of it being an IL initiated event, the administration has reacted very quickly to bandage over that. Combined with Trump now declaring "victory" (looking for an offramp?), the question is now will Iran sit around and let this play out the same way it always has.

Cannot be understated how Iran is on the verge of becoming the new major player in the ME if they truly succeed in overturning USIL influence in the area. Rest of the gulf have proven themselves not even paper tigers at this point, moreso styrofoam housecats

I thought it needs like 85 or 90% refined. Perhaps, 60% doesn't give off that same massive energy level as a 90% or higher.

You can have a workable bomb at 20%. From them on, higher enrichment allows for less mass for the same given yield, facilitating miniaturization and reducing weight, which is at a premium in a missile the further you want to go
