Probably because India would volunteer to join the fight. Right now, it is best for Iran that less and less countries join Israel's war of aggression directly.

What a perfect time to pour hundreds of billions more into a war with Iran. Especially now, when Japan and Europe, America’s main vassals and debt sponges, would be crushed by the Hormuz closure and the energy crisis, hit with sky-high prices, and forced to dump their old long-term US Treasury holdings just to stay afloat, never mind buying new ones when the U.S. needs it most. Like I told you all here, if Trump does not find a quick way to claim "victory" again and get out soon, the United States is finished as a nation, in all areas, and it will not get a second chance.

Oil prices will surge to $200. An economic nuclear bomb. However, I don’t think Iran is going to do it unless the Gulf gives them an excuse because realistically this is their best weapon against an US with limited financial tools to deal with another crisis.
