I'm not sure why someone would do it, but this image is almost definitely AI enhanced even though we have plentiful real images of the aircraft from similar angles.

The proportions of the noes, the geometry of the chin EO IRST/EOTS, and the loss/smudging of details of the PLANAF roundel, are all telltale signs.

That does not explain the distorted/loss of detail of the PLANAF roundel, the loss of detail of the canopy detonation cords, or the distortion of the EOTS sensor.

Almost all current AI cannot create Chinese character at this time. The only exception is latest version of DeepSeek. The inverted V and half curve is obviously AI generated.

I have a bad feeling that people are feeding this forum with AI generated images, getting feedbacks to the AI machine to improve it untill AI machine can create deeper and deeper fake to the point that fakes can take over. Pointing out why and how the fake is detected is kind of training of AI machine. We should discourage such post, remove them after a threthold of down voting, without providing feedback.

On the flip side you do want the posters to learn and improve or more AI fakes will keep coming still. It's a dilemma.
