Unitree humanoid robots are the most used humanoids in research bar to none and Qwen LLMs are the most used LLM in research. Kimi and Minimax are really good for end users but they are not research friendly.
As you said, Alibaba is looking to joint other Chinese labs in the commercial race as they should. Hopefully they will continue to open sourcing models because I believe is China AI strength. Diffusion of their models globally. despite efforts from the US.

But if Qwen goes down would be a lost in my opinion.
Who said anything about them going down?
There are actually now quite a few Chinese AI labs doing small models. If Qwen wasn't around, the other ones would just take over.

Seriously, calm down.

Monitoring shows Deepseek released a new model for test today, and some guy report a significant improvement in coding capabilities. Very close to sonnet 4.6 in their bench

By the way, if you want to use this latest test model, you cannot enable Thinking and Search; otherwise, it will still be the previous version of the test model.

But don't waste time doing Pelicans SVG testing; it's terrible.

I think this is a good way for them to test out the model while they make more progress on post training work.

OpenClaw is taking over in China. This seems to now be widely spreading among big tech.

I mean, I've talked about this many times now, you don't need a CGTN link. What do they know?

This is from today. Minimax 2.5 continue to lead with 283B tokens, but interesting enough is that Step 3.5 Flash has now climbed to 5th with 121B tokens.

Hasty promotion is not a good thing, especially since Openclaw can grant extremely high access. Using such products without sufficient technical knowledge and security awareness is tantamount to directly installing a backdoor.

They should ideally develop and promote Openclaw-like products with clear security restrictions, similar what the open-source community doing.
