This the fourth time since the war began to my knowledge that they have said they attacked US fleet ships. They reported to have struck a carrier once, which CENTCOM denied and then later a destroyer, which I saw no acknowledgement from CENTCOM of. Whether they actually have ever hit has not been independently confirmed. If they have hit and scored casualties, as much as the US Navy tries to hide, it if indeed they have suffered losses, time will reveal.
