Footage of Iranian missile strikes on Tel Aviv. Iran also used the new Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missiles; technical information about them is provided in the link to the video in the comments. A video filmed by Tel Aviv residents appears to show the release of cluster munitions from an Iranian missile. For an as-yet-unknown reason, Israeli Iron Dome air defense systems are not firing. The video has been shortened to show only the Iranian missile strikes on Tel Aviv. An Iranian missile strike on Israel's Haifa seaport is also added at the end.

Ayi suspected that the HQ-2 that was bombed was probably a decoration in a park commemorating the Iran-Iraq War, that is why it didn't explode after being hit.

These days, Iranians don't use the HQ-2 much anymore.

I cannot express how annoyed I was that they made the Iranian war coverage a paid episode. I will be forever calling them war profiteers from now on.

centcom said no plane was shot down, the media people probably don't even have access to info like this, so no one know what really happened. or it might have been israeli

No, CENTCOM said reports of a plane shot down over Basra are not true. They can technically say that if the plane was shot down over neighbouring Al Amarah.

Never forget America is a land ruled by lawyers.

This is actually a reason why America is rushing into the ground game phase of the war.

The Iranians expected the enemy to own the skies, and have built their entire military, support infrastructure and tactics with that in mind.

Thus the Americans and Israelis are belatedly finding out (which is wild considering how long they have been preparing for this fight against Iran and how compromised Iran is) that having achieved air superiority over Iran doesn’t actually mean anywhere close to as much as they thought.

The Iranians just Freemen’d under the sand and the best ‘money shot’ kill-cam footage the aggressors could present turned out to be painted decoys.

They are bombing civilian targets out of impotent rage right now, and are pushing for ground operations as a means to try to flush the Iranians out of their holes and force them to concentrate forces so the Americans and Israelis can finally have something worthwhile to bomb.
The thing is they haven’t even achieved full air superiority over Iran. Maybe partial at best but definitely not complete.

China is talking to Iran regarding commercial shipping, presumably with an eye towards reaching some kind of Houthi-esque deal.

LONDON, March 5 (Reuters) - China is in talks with Iran to allow crude oil and Qatari liquefied natural gas vessels safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz as the U.S.-Israeli war on Tehran intensifies, three diplomatic sources told Reuters. The war, ‌which entered its sixth day on Thursday, has left the critical shipping passageway all-but shut, with countries around the world cut off from a fifth of global oil and liquefied natural gas supplies.

China, which has friendly relations with Iran and relies heavily on Middle Eastern supplies, is unhappy about the Islamic Republic's move to paralyse shipping through the Strait and is pressing Tehran to allow safe passage for the vessels, according to the sources. The world's second-largest economy gets about 45% of its oil from the Strait. Ship tracking data showed a vessel called the Iron Maiden passed through the Strait overnight after changing its signalling to 'China-owner,' but far more sailings will be needed to calm global markets.

Well said. Iran's mistake was not that they antagonized the west too much, but rather that they bend backwards compromising their own interests to placate the west, so much so both the West and their own allies lost respect for them. If only Iran shown the tenacity they're showing now five years ago, then non of this would be happening, Trump won't even dare to went in. Iran's failure to deter the US has cost both themselves and the US dearly.

以地事秦,犹抱薪救火,薪不尽,火不灭。
What we often forget that Iran's capabilities have been growing rapidly. In the last 5 years they built all these accurate modern missiles like Emad, kheybar and khorramshahr 4 in large numbers. The shahed is about 5 years old. And Iran didn't have a 60% HEU stockpile 5 years ago. Western media always say that Iran is getting weaker and weaker every day, but in reality, had this war happened 10 years ago they would have already lost

Even though some proxies lost battles recently, Iran's own development has been very rapid in recent years. That's also why Israel had to attack before Iran gets too powerful. Looks like they waited for too long though

So apparently Iran is using some new cluster munitions warhead on their ballistic missiles as witnessed by a CNN news crew in Tel Aviv. Because Israel is censoring reports on strikes in Israel by the news, they’re describing it to their audience. They said they witnessed it hit causing a fiery explosive impact. Israel said it was a solar lithium battery factory that was hit. Yeah… right! Next time it’ll be a warehouse filled with aid for Gazans.
It was a military site in an urban area of Tel Aviv. A mossad office or something similar. Sounds like they're changing the story now. There is a video of it, in one of my recent posts, as it re-enters the atmosphere and separates into individual clusters.

"We have air supremacy" = ???
= we can fly safely in our airspace.

Not much talk on Lebanon here besides whatever chatter can be found on clashes with Hezbollah. But from what I'm seeing online, believe it or not Iran isn't even getting the worst of this war destruction wise so far. Lebanese towns and Southern Beirut are basically being Khan Younised right now.

And it can only get worse, since Israel isn't in the mood for just a buffer zone this time around, they want to kill, maim, and capture every last Hezbollah fighter. I wonder if the Israelis will be so brutal that even if most of Lebanon despises Hezbollah, somehow they'll join in the resistance just to prevent Israeli soldiers and settlers from occupying their land.
Smotrich said it's time for Beirut(?) or southern Lebanon(?) to get Khan Younised.

Does anyone think the gulf states will pull out? It seems like they see that this is not worth the risk, and reverse course before their desalination plants get blown up. This would also go against Israeli interests.
I highly doubt Iran will target anybody's civilian infrastructure, including Israel's, unless it is absolutely necessary or tied to military efforts.

The thing is they haven’t even achieved full air superiority over Iran. Maybe partial at best but definitely not complete.
Western Iran hasn't been hit at all except for one strike in Mashhad earlier. That indicates SOW weapon usage.

I start to think that iran does not see teheran as a strategic asset that they should protect with their limited AD. Thats why they let US and Israel bombs Teheran and their nuclear site without any protection. But it is different to the site where the US and Israel drones got shot down
