At least Azerbaijan is giving Iran a chance instead of flat out jumping at it. Although maybe its just an part of the process to come up with an excuse.

Maybe a lot of guys are tired and just want to stay out of this. Everyone has so many problems now at home so having another dragged out war that involves oil is not something many can tolerate. Esp when its for Israel.

I mean if someone just saw Iran take out all US bases and radar in the ME and then do an inventory of their own AD systems, it does not motivate them to jump into the war.

With Iran missile/drone spamming everyone fighting like man possessed, everyone wants to give it a chance now. If it were a cheap meal, they'd all want to take a piece. If Trump knew this was the new Iran, he'd fucking "give them a chance" and try to negotiate.

Saudis and their Gulf Dummies are starting to realize that air defense munitions are not as numerous and any extra supply goes to Israel first. The Houthis not joining the war acts as leverage against the Saudis and their influences in the Gulf. If the Saudis goes to war on Iran then the Houthis will blow up their 750 mile pipeline. No pipeline. No Straits of Hormuz. They can’t defend every inch of that pipeline.

hey do have a vast array of domestic systems, wich in IMO, now is more convenient for them because different from the GCC they won't run out of supply as fast. If the procured the components and manufacture enough for the war.

Interesting point of Iran is the many mountain .

It means that single S-300 and long range systems can't cover the country, only above 3km.
It creating a situation, when the attacking planes have the option to fly low, and aviod long range systems.


Issues is, Iran has countles mobile systems, and a single KUB even Rappier can kill the plane as light up underneath of it.

Originaly the Sah planed to buy AWACS planes to cover the mountains of Iran .

Russia in similar topography installed 52E6MU Barrier E bistatic radars.
