German U-boats often gave basic aid to enemy sailors stranded at sea after their vessels were targeted and sunk.

What's the message?

The Kurds are not a united group. They have factions. I have to double check with the local Canadian Kurd faction what they're smoking these days, whom in my experience are the psychotic separatist lot. They did inform me though before this conflict began that things are gonna get wild very soon. It's like they knew before hand.

Maybe this is why US reverse-engineered the Shahed drone - to conduct false flags and pin the blame on Iran. Is it just me or does this drone not sound the same as the regular Irani Shahed?

Upon a closer look, it doesn't even look like a Shahed,

In fact, this does not look like any Shahed model.
That is not a Iranian drone.

Yup, even if the drone looks completely identical I'm calling false flag. It is way too obvious

Quite ungrateful indeed. And they also begged them for help to get their diplomats out of Lebanon for which Azerbaijan send a plane. And they still proceeded to launch drones at them:

There's no evidence yet of whether these are false flag attacks or not. Azerbaijan's army is organizing at the Iranian border and I am sure USIS would love for them to invade Iran.

Edit: My mistake. There is a HUGE amount of evidence that these are false flag attacks. Not Iranian drones.

Spoke too soon. It was evidence for false flag attacks on Cyprus and some GCC states. Including UK MOD announcements that they were not Iranian attacks. No evidence for Azerbaijan though.

Given we've already seen false flag attacks on Cyprus (to draw NATO/UK/EU into the war) and GCC, I would put the chance that this Azerbaijan attack is false flag at reasonably high.

After each engagement, Parties to the conflict shall, without delay, take all possible measures to search for and collect the shipwrecked, wounded and sick, to protect them against pillage and ill-treatment, to ensure their adequate care, and to search for the dead and prevent their being despoiled.

During kinetic operations against alleged narco-terrorists off the coast of Venezuela in September 2026, American forces launched a follow-on strike — or a so-called "double tap" — against survivors of an effectively destroyed narco-terrorist drug boat.

— with terrorist being the operative word in both instances — no one should reasonably count on the US government or military to accord Iranian forces, at sea or on the ground, treatment in accordance with the spirit or letter of the Geneva Conventions.

The bottom line is once the United States — in particular the current administration — declares an enemy to be terrorists, certain norms and rules are tossed out the window even if all the legal niceties aren't in place, yet.

And?. They were in international waters and nothing would prevent them from droping the survivors in any nearby port and the slipping out again.

If we're to be frank about it: seizing, securing and transporting a large number of prisoners of war in the midst of ongoing combat operations is "a pain in the ass."

Lawyers, politicians and activists can talk about the relevant legalities all they want, but that doesn't mean the guys in the field are going to go out of their way to take prisoners or rescue survivors, especially if they feel higher ups have not properly resourced them to do so or if there's any visible risk to their own safety and security.

This level of callousness and disregard seems mostly anglo-european in nature

During GWOT, the DoD together with the CIA neutralized numerous terrorists under Title 50 authority with negligible interest in capturing the HVTs targeted or seeking "death warrants" from the American judiciary.

While the ongoing operations against Iran are principally being pursued under a different legal framework, a similar mentality is already — at least partially — in play, considering the

I finally wraped my head around the problem with the Iranian warship shinking.

It is against the basic principles of allowed violence in human societies.
1.st rule : you don't kill enyone, unless there is a danger of the person killine another fellow human
2nd rule : you don't hurt anyone unless there is a risk of sameone else get hurt be the person

The Art of War is about this topics :
1.you don't wage war because you are bored, and have nothing better to do, but because you did everything possible to avoid it, and you failed.
2. if you go on war you make sure your soldiers are well prepared and feeded and you have a very good and detailed plan
3. you make sure you don't do battles unless there is no other choice.

And he gives lot of alternative options to avoid war and kinetic combat.

Reason why the Russians give ultimatum to the ukrainans before a siege, and gives option to surrender.

This case the submarine didn't give warning shoot, no emergency radio contact with the other ship ask them for surrender, no waiting for answer or whatever.

Just killing for killing sake.

And the video showing this message .
"Iranians, don't surrender, don't stop the fight, we are insane psychopats, and we doing the war for the thrill of killing and blowing up things"

C'mon, if you watch the 300 Spartans Xerxes offered surrender prior of fight. And the fight started when they turned down the offer. And he was painted as an evil .

It is against the basic principles of war since (un) writen histroy , It is crayz to see video like this puplished by the USA military.
Rules are for civilized people, not people who open a conflict by bombing a girls' school. Israelis and the new theocratic America are basically fighting like their ex wife went to heaven so they gotta do whatever they can to go to hell.
