Jingchi Electromechanical: 12-inch SiC Crystal Growth Furnace Passes International Customer's SAT Acceptance​


On March 1st, according to the official WeChat account of Jingchi Electromechanical, the company has received multiple SAT (Safety Assurance Testing) acceptance notices from customers. These acceptances not only test the supplier's quality system but also send a clear signal: the industrialization of large-size crystal growth technology is accelerating at a faster pace than expected.

Mass production users have placed extremely high demands on the core performance indicators of growth equipment, including long-term operational stability, temperature field control precision, and crystal growth consistency. In multiple rounds of SAT process verification, Jingchi Electromechanical's 12-inch crystal growth furnace demonstrated excellent repeatability and reliability, with all data meeting customer acceptance standards and possessing the capability for rapid deployment to mass production lines.​

NAND wafer prices continue to go up, 512Gb TLC is almost 5x as expensive. LPDDR4x is also significantly more expensive vs last October. Great time for CXMT and YMTC
It's crazy the prices. My 64GB DDR5 from a couple years ago cost me ~$200, now the same sticks on Amazon sell for ~$1000. I saw the writing on the wall re: NAND and got an 8TB stick of 4th gen for ~$700 a couple months ago, and now the same stick is "on sale" for $1350 (MSRP is $2400!)

Should we hoard more ddr now, and then resell them for a profit?

"Domestic 28nm lithography machine enters process testing phase" Is that consistent with earlier commentary that YMTC was starting pilot production of an all domestic line at the beginning of the year? What is the typical timeline from process testing to HVM usage?
