I didn’t grasp how degraded Iran’s surface to air network had become. I don’t know if this was largely the result of the earlier 12 day war, or a combination of that war and decades of sanctions, but I honestly expected Iran to have a more formidable anti-air defense capabilities
Until now there have been over 30 (40 now) Heron/Hermes/MQ drones shot down over Iran. This just tells me that drones are being used unresponsibly because the risk from AD is too high

Israeli air strikes against Iranian military equipment. The strike on Iran was the largest in the history of the Israeli Air Force, involving approximately 200 fighter jets and 500 US combat aircraft.
Strikes have already been carried out against 500 targets in Iran. Iran's air defenses are unable to repel such a large air attack, especially the massive number of cruise missile attacks. Apparently aware of this, Iran is trying to preserve its air defense systems and uses them only locally.

it seems Iran pretty much lost most of its offensive capabilities except its missile program which is on US's next attack list, once its missile program is destroyed, what is left of Iran's leverages? how are Iran able to fight back?
apparently, F-4s with short ranged dumb bombs are still on the menu.
This is what you hear in the western orwellian brainwashing media and from natoid bots.

In reality, neither the Iranian air force nor the navy nor the air defense has been truly "lost".

I swear, some of you even claimed that during the 12-day war, Iran also "ran out of everything",

Tell me how that ended? Do you all not understand the concept of the escalation ladder or strategy?
I'll just keep playing the video of the F-4. If they can't intercept an F-4, how are they gonna find a TEL?

They never found Saddam's TELs but finished the Iraqi Air Force in 100 hours or so. BTW, the current time is 95 hours. Tik Tok.

On another note, i of course appreciate the many contributions here in a very fast moving conflict, but for the many twitter links can it be posted a very brief description of what it shows? This way we can avoid duplicates, besides when logging in and there are dozens of new pages it's hard to sift through for things of interest.

I remain pessimistic about Iran's future.

If Trump continues to escalate unnecessarily for the sake of saving face, the US military and Israel can still overwhelm Iran with their sheer size, and may even (or has already begun) commit indiscriminate killings like in Gaza.

The so-called regime change and destruction of the missile industry will instead become a long and painful massacre like Gaza, until the social productivity is overwhelmed.

I am also not optimistic about Iran's long-term resistance capability, but once the United States gets involved in a war here lasting more than three months, the world will indeed undergo dramatic changes as a result.
