I think that only applies to Iraqi, Turkish and Syrian Kurds. Kurds in Iran are largely loyal to Iran I believe.

Not the best route to take because they'll be constantly harassed from left to right potentially preventing them from even reaching Tehran. Like in those Tower Defense games where enemies march on a predefined path and the players place defenses and soldiers on both sides to grind down the enemy and prevent them from reaching their target.
