Yes.. They are difficult, time consuming, and costly to produce and costly to supply and they can be drained by a saturation of cheap flying and air propelled objects flying into their zones.
Like many things in defense, it's a numbers game, and a hard one at that specially if the attacking weapons are easy and cheap to manufacture compares to the interceptors.

It also puts into perspective how many similar strikes the Russians have been able to fend off in 4 years of barrages.
All that training in Ukraine paid off I guess

Oof! That kind of precise time sensitive targeting is usually only achievable if:

- The Iranians had assets on the ground in Bahrain conducting around the clock physical surveillance of USG personnel; or

- The Iranians compromised a selector (i.e. cell phone, laptop, tablet, etc. that can be precisely geolocated) belonging to someone targeted; or

- A third party — and there aren't exactly many of them with the technical means to compromise telecom infrastructure at the national level — fed the Iranians the targeting data.

Granted, there is also the possibility the Iranians have real time feeds of check-ins from multiple GCC hotels — if not hotel chains — popular with USG personnel, and cross referenced recent check-ins with known names and aliases of USG personnel.
The US just asked all military personnel to deactivate location services on their phones, especially Uber and some others.

Im really surprised how quick it is to run out of ammo these days.

Especially for those using US weaponry.

Is everything that expensive or hard to produce on a large scale now?
Not that surprising. We have had endless peace since ww2. Big wars have become very rare. Most countries including US actually cannot fight a proper attritional war similar to ww2.

Actual number of planes, missiles and other expensive assets are very limited.

Only Soviet union in past maintained enough stockpile for a total war, and that is why Russia is able to fight in Ukraine.

Because the UK didn't give the US permission to use it.
UK has since given US permission to use their bases 'defensively' whatever that means.
Base on official data from Gulf countries, Iran launched over 1200 strikes at five Gulf countries in the first two days. Most of them were drones which makes sense from a tactical point of view. Drones are low cost and their launchers are much easier to hide under US air superiority.

In the tweet she lists iranian shaheds costing $20-50K , isnt that more american Lucas cost? Shaheds are $10K or under $10k right
That was a good episode, we need to resolve world conflicts with a game of finger-chess-snake-ladders

All true,

heh maybe us personal began to post pictures of the hotel rooms or food on instagram with location settings on and BOOM.
The US just asked all military personnel to deactivate location services on their phones, especially Uber and some others.
This didnt happen last time..

Yep, Read French presidents comments from today, he essentially said 'might is right, and we need to increase our might' and ordered increase of nuclear stockpile and said they will STOP reporting the numbers as they did before.

Lol, do they?. Haven't they shipped most of their AD stuff to Ukraine?. Shit has become a good example of why Ukranian air defense stats were probably bs from the start, too

Imagine losing Bolton of all people.

Also, in the CENTCOM press release over the 3 F-15 they claim Iranian aircraft were airborne and attacking Kuwait, so they haven't really been able to achieve air supremacy over Iran if true

I called Iranian aircraft flying on Saturday.
