even if they managed to completely destroy Iran's missile capabilities, Iran can still rebuild it from the ground since the institutional knowledge is already there which can't be destroyed. So their end goal will have to be a regime change, and a western friendly one.

Like I said before, distance is US biggest enemy and Iran best air defense is territorial size and terrain. The US only have a less than 20 active stealth bombers and 40 or so B1Bs who are susceptible to be shot down, that sounds like a lot but have never been proven with conventional bombs for a country the size of Iran. Also Diego Garcia is not immune to iran attacks. Man I think most of the bombs are not even designed for the kind of underground facilities that the Iranians have built.
And I want to be president of the United States. There is no penalty for dreaming. But challenging nations with legit Air Force/nuclear weapons will not be a cakewalk.
