Two F-15s going down in Kuwait because of both having a malfunction seems odd. I’m a skeptic in general on the exaggerated role of lasers out there because of the technological limits but at least the one that flames out looks like the earmark of what a laser would do under optimal conditions to an aircraft. It would be a first and maybe something new if it is.

One can’t trust Western media reports of Chinese military shipments to Iran to the run up of this attack but it’s pretty naive for Beijing if they were to believe that China isn’t an eventual target in the US’s attempt to save US/Western power in the world. Trump TACOing with ceasefire talk already shows how he and Americans are very sensitive to this blowing up in their faces. And look at how the Middle East is on the verge of exploding… I bet Trump and his minions thought it was going to be easier than what is happening like Iran would immediately surrender. It’s not to China’s interests to let the US skipping country to country threatening military attack if they don’t surrender to US demands. Look at Syria. The US is demanding they not buy anything from China and only buy from the US. The US is forcing the world to choose a side.
Lasers don’t have the range to hit an F-15 in Kuwait airspace from Iran. I don’t think SAM can either due to curvature of the planet.

Maybe they're just incompetent and had a mid air collision. Easier to blame the Arabs though.

US military personnel demonstrated an attack by an Iranian Arash-2 suicide drone on the US military base Camp Buehring in Kuwait. It was previously reported that Russia ordered the Arash-2 drones from Iran. Iran also launched a strike with Shahed-136 drones on a US ammunition depot in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, as shown in the second part. The drone strike caused a massive fire at the US base in Erbil, Iraq.

The US is forcing the world to choose a side.

Seems more like the United States has no clue what it is doing.

Also, sometimes, for whatever reasons, things go haywire, and we probably should look at the situation without too much thinking, as it changes too rapidly.

Strange times, require another lens I suppose that is what I am saying.

I am sure you have read the reports that John Bolton is criticizing Trump for this military adventure. That I never thought I would live to see that day, that a warmonger like Bolton was criticizing an US initiated war!

Strange times indeed!

Maybe China gave them a little software update for their missiles. A little upgrade to ECM and guidance because that is definitely the case in the current scenario compared to the previous.

Yeah, exactly.

I do not remember everything, but I do sort of remember after the initial shock of the surprise attack by Israel the last time in the summer, it took a bit of time for Iran to get organized.

What I remember is that Iran would fire a whole bunch of slow moving drones as the opening wave, then some faster missiles in the second wave, then after interceptors were depleted then came the real missiles the hammer to do the damage.

The previous 12 days war, Iran sent missile barrages in waves in that manner to defeat the anti-air missile defense.

Now it seems like they just like to fire one missile then forget about it.

That seems like a remarkable improvement in just a matter of months. Not only to rebuild the missile inventory, but to also upgrade like this! Like WTF?!

So, that begs the same question? Anyone in the background offering advice or anything?

Might’ve been something as simple as switching guidance to Beidou.
