I don't think they have enough stockpiles to reasonably defend the region, economic stability or political capital, at the home. A few days or weeks max. If they fail until then, it will be another epic victory "we destroyed Iran nuclear program" in the form of "we decapitated the regime", before pulling back again.
I'm guessing Israel doesn't have it in them to go on a full scale war against Iran. They just wanna keep rotating its leaders until they find traitors to lead Iran.
