Iranian weapons can go through Iraq + other ways of smuggling + looting of government weapons. Mercenaries also usually aren't the hardest fighters since they are only doing it because they get paid. These countries lost to the Houthis on foreign soil even though they can use much harsher methods and indiscriminatory bomb civilian targets, they will not be able to stop an internal uprising.
That's true, however some of these mercenaries have experience in other conflicts, they can potentially be troublesome during a war. but like Machiavelli said on his book
> "They have no love or other motive to keep them in the field beyond a trifling wage, which is not enough to make them ready to die for you."

>"If they are skilled, you cannot trust them, for they will always aspire to their own greatness... but if the captain is not skillful, you are ruined in the usual way."
And we can see how mercenaries can be a double edge sword in Modern conflicts, like for example in Ukraine and the Wagner rebellion, they were useful for taking territory like bakhmutt but then they rebelled against putin.

Iran if they have enough money they can simply just buy them off, buying a single mercenary in their army can cause enough trouble because they can easily sabotage their platoon or worse their own division.

The supposed official confirmation that he's dead.
Now let’s see if this stops the attacks coming or if it makes the attacks worse, that is the critical question. Given his moderate stance and how he did hold Iran back from going whole hog, really I don’t see why the west should be celebrating so soon because making such a man a martyr (especially when he’s more then 85 years old, he literally died a heroes death) is probably the dumbest thing one can do considering the sheer level of cowardice involved in regards to taking him out. This could have the potential to make life hell for the USA and Israel if they don’t be very careful in the coming days or it could very well be too late in that regard.

He certainly allowed himself to be killed. That much is obvious. He didn't even leave his compound during the tensions. Benjamin leaves his country the instant the war starts. Really tells you who make up the cowards of the world. Very brave, yet he probably also knew it was his time.

In recent wars like ones in Ukraine we have that fog of war where we don't really get any real confirmation that someone died or is still alive until a few days later. Like they were talking about Gerasimov and Lloyd Austin were supposed to be dead but it turns out they just showed up a week later and people acted like nothing happened.

So probably will not get any confirmation immediately. If he is alive, he doesn't want Israel aiming for him immediately again. After all they would be inclined to cover loss of face.

Edit: Nevermind
I remember when during the Russo Ukraine war Pro Russians were talking about how they killed Zaluzhny, or that they made him mentally disabled during an attack. Only for him to appear like a week later and do this
