In 2023, the domestic market share of Chinese-made robots exceeded 50% for the first time, reaching 52.45%; by 2025, the market share had steadily climbed to nearly 60%.

The localization rate of key components has increased significantly. Controllers, servo motors and other components have basically achieved domestic substitution, and the localization rate of harmonic reducers and RV reducers has exceeded 70%.

CSST Group's ZA55GC product passed COMAC PCD certification last year for C919 and got golden supplier award for its supply in 2025H1

On 2025/12/25, COMAC awarded it Engineering certificate of Qualified Material and Standard Parts. This means it satisfied COMAC's strictest requirement and formally entered its supply chain. It took 3 years of testing to obtain this approval.

It is the first Chinese Carbon Fiber supplier to do so.

Olefins are mainly used to produce plastics, so it's not an energy security thing per se.

But if coal plants can produce olefins cheaper than using oil, a lot of Chinese oil imports are going to disappear eventually.

Looks like 16% of China's oil consumption is used to produce olefins.

北京工业大学/Beijing Industrial University has created a nanocrystalline SmCo7-based permanent magnet alloy using Mn/Cu co-doping. At 500C, it still maintains coercivity of >7 kOe and achieves a Curie temperature exceeding 700℃. (Curie temperature is when a magnet loses magnetism). This significantly outperforms previous SmCo7 alloys. Is extremely important for high temperature motors and aerospace.

Oil which is not used to produce plastics is oil which doesn't need to be imported. Hence energy security.
