LoL! 2025 is an interesting year indeed. There were plenty of business world talkers in the Malaysia and Singapore predicting doom and gloom for China. They cite the usual things: a stuttering economy, general world hostility, Trump back in office, post-Covid malaise, and an increasingly unpopular CCP. Even a popular Feng Shui master predicted a slowing economy and political turmoil in China. All were predicting that 2025 would be a great year for SEA and India.

Come end of 2025, and they're all so quiet. Now let's see them make the same predictions again for 2026. Because I've hearing the same BS predictions since 2023.

A company that uses a Chinese open-source model as its base model and fine-tunes it into so-called "values-aligned" Christian AI models fetched a US$586 million valuation for its Nasdaq initial public offering.

1. what the heck is "values-aligned" Christian AI models, who cares about it? Are they planning to sell it to Amish?
2. US$586 million for this? HOW? US capital markets just nuts, definitely a bubble.
