It is called 057, 20000+ Tons, 268 VLS, some think it is already being build.

A modern day kirov class type ship with modern radars and sensors and also hypersonic weapons will be what I would call a modern day battleship.

Battleship is complex mechanical engineering product (failure in launch mechanism can make ship out of order) and not many are built and not viable to support at long distance. This Buyun class corvette that is used for Kaliber missiles strikes need protection of mountains and travel in inland waterways. drones are reaching there.
since missiles are such long range now smaller numerous ships will be much easier to protect , reload and i have yet to see any large ships firing 8 cruise missiles in less than 30 seconds.

It would be poetic if the Trump Class Battleship ends up being built in South Korea while MAGA is seething over the back stabbing of reviving US industries. Rather doubtful they will meet the $10 to $15 billion dollar price tag. I find it more likely the price tag will over run the budget by triple digit percentages.

This is the Indian demographic dividend that is going power the nation forward for the next couple of decades. So the potential for India to threaten China's own workforce is delusional for the foreseeable future.

China is not run by liberal nut jobs. There is no chance they are letting young men like these to so easily immigrate into China. These young men can't even grow their own country, so why should China's cold realist government accept people like these?
