This one, It’s a GaN-based AESA radar with 2,400 TR modules. The radar is an AESA system mounted on the swash plate of a PESA radar, forming a PESA–AESA hybrid—similar to the latest radar used on the Eurofighter Typhoon.
I would be amazed if somehow india can produce a radar with that many more TRM count than on the J-16

first Super Sukhoi is expected to fly in 2028. IAF has placed an order for 12 brand-new Super Sukhois (not upgraded older airframes). However, HAL has proposed that IAF procure at least 72 brand-new Super Sukhois. Once the aircraft begins flying, IAF will likely increase the order size.

Yes, but already now some nonsense-sites are claiming such a not yet existing variant could be exported? That‘s the typical stupid Indian bragging about impossible things.

And still the IAF refused the Indian Uttam AESA on its own Tejas Mk.1A

IAF didn’t reject it; on the contrary, they prefer UTTAM AESA radar over ELTA 2052. However, the Indian jammer ‘Mayavi’ is still under development, and integrating the UTTAM AESA radar with the Israeli jammer would take additional time, delaying the delivery of Tejas. Therefore, HAL decided to proceed with the Israeli radar for now, until both the Indian radar and jammer are fully ready.

Virupaksha Radar has a range of 600km for a target of 1 meter square RCS
Super SU30 will be almost like a mini AWACS after being upgraded with this Radar
So the su30 fighter radar will be more powerful than the American E-3 and Israeli EL/W-2085 on board the Indian Netra which are aircrafts dedicated for AWACS role?

1sqm @ 600km, physics has left the chat.

Did it fly with the 2052? I'm wondering what sort of state Chinese radars are in then if somehow India can have a 2400 TRM count in a radar the size of the flankers'.

Remember that the J-16 is a second-line fighter-bomber and I expect it will mainly be used as a bomb/missile truck. So it's not worth retrofitting a more advanced radar.

But look at the J-20 which is the premier air superiority fighter.
It started with a GaN radar some 10 years ago, which is now being replaced with a SiC radar with 3x the power.
