If the US does invade Venezuela, China might respond with sanctions on the US equivalent to what US put on Russia, and invite Europe to do the same. After all, invading sovereign nations is bad, right?

The UK already stole Venezuela's gold. And the EU says the Venezuelan elections were illegitimate. Spain usually at least tries to push back against US interventionism in Latin America but even they are failing here.

My guess is Venezuelan oil is being secured by US for EU to keep them fully off of Russian oil. Hence, EU will fully support US in this invasion.
