This might be an unpopular opinion, but actually based.
If frogs in the well like you were dominant in stone age, we would still be living in caves. Imagine going „we don‘t want anything to do with other cave cultures to form a village“, „we hate those villagists“ etc.
In a hundred years or so when you look back, those little frog in the well cultures would have reduced to nothing (already happening because of demographic problems) and the dominant cultures would be the ones that can absorb new people and grow bigger.
I learned to call this mentality “嬷自己” from cnet. These eurocucks love to exaggerate and make stuff up to pity themselves (conveniently about China which has no threat to them but never dare to apply this vibe to their actual master - America).
This is mental masturbation. But this vibe based worldview that refuses to face reality will only reinforce their dumbass decline cycle because they don’t have that advantage in organized violence anymore.
Didnt work well for Romans, or anyone in history.
Worked for them for centuries and as with all things. It too came to an end. Worked for China as it expanded southwards absorbing new people. Just like with the cavemen analogy, entire human civilizations was formed by several groups coming together not by being scared little frogs in the well.
The insular mentality historically didn't work well for the Native American, African, or Amazonian tribes either.
