So, where are all these SSNs that are supposedly being produced "like sausages" ( 3-4 a year ) as Hruschov said?

Not sure if this is just a stupid & provocation post or indeed ignorance and inexperience of a new, somewhat overconfident member?

Probably they are where they belong... in the water, hidden from the prying eyes of certain OSINT nerds, analysts, agencies and their spy satellites. And if you consider for a moment how easily just about two dozen J-15Ts flew in formation over the Liaoning and Shandong in November, ready for action, or how easily several brand-new J-35s and J-35As are already in service, then it's not difficult to imagine, knowing when the spy satellites would be passing by, simply making the boats "disappear." ;)

Like Negev base after Iran's True promise 2 operation. Was cut an pasted. Anyway, the whole parade shown that PLA is hiding in plain sight. But, did Pres Xi ever lied to the Chinese people?

The SSNs are likely in trials I think.
It was quite unlike China to start serial production without making two boats and testing them first. Shows how much they want to fill the nuclear submarine gap.

The Akula submarine's steam turbine has 32MW power for a 190MWt nuclear reactor.

That is a pretty big submarine if it has a 38MW steam turbine. Bigger than anything the US has. The US uses two smaller turbines with less power combined than this single one.

What about the Seawolf SSNs?
