As far as I am concerned, Nvidia should be unwelcome in China until/unless they are willing and able to sell their best products there, and have mandatoroy third-party Chinese state validation that the finished clusters and data centers (not just the chips) are backdoor-free and uncompromised through its entire lifecycle.

I'm not implying anti state rebellion. Rather just what seems a natural response. The cops still get shot at daily despite their larger, more sophisticated force, and they've called in the national guard multiple times who rolled in with tanks. Didn't change anything.

Another issue is that no one inside the US government at a rank and file level really likes ICE as they know they are uneducated thugs, except cops from Crackerville and Racistburg, so I doubt that many people are going to bat for them if they start getting IED'd
Even if they get to 4-5K from current levels, that's a big boost. They can get richer from just urbanization, better education, more consumption alone. Foreign companies are investing in most countries just to sell their products there which will lead to more income for the middle class.
It will be hard for everybody to get richer with AI and automation. People forget that businesses need customers, if people aren't working and earning, thanks to AI, then there's no customers. Without raw materials where are these countries going to get inputs from? Exhaust their resources? This AI and automation scare is going to be a myth and industrial countries are going to have to invest in production elsewhere by negotiation.
