Rumoured Projects & Likelihood Thereof

Pardon my ignorance but what (if any) evidence is there for these? Particularly the first two?

VTOL fighter has alot of supporting evidence like the liftfan, clutch, swivel nozzle and engine all tested and built while the second one are only rumors from credible people.

I assume it'll be a 5th gen stealth fighter for the Marine Corps similar to the F-35B then? But I thought PLANMC relied on the PLANAF for air support?

If you mean a brand-new, designed-from-scratch aircraft which is kitted for military applications (and little to nil consideration for civilian operations) - Apparently there have been rumors of such aircrafts (probably as a general-purpose platform for multitude of applications and likely in the Boeing 757-category in terms of size/weight) being in the works(?)

Since this was mentioned by both Adorable Dolphin and Oneninety sometime last month, so perhaps this information do have some amount of credibility-ish(?)

Kindly treat these information with a huge chunk of salt, though.
