Nope,At present, the J-35/A uses WS-21 (which can be understood as an improved version of RD-33/93), and its thrust is obviously still far from EJ-200. At present, the ideal goal of AVIC is the complete version of WS-19, including the maximum afterburning thrust of 12 tons, which is enough to make the J-35 with two engines have more than the complete version of F-135,which F-35 using.
WS-21(improved WS-12) has little to do with RD-33, thrust obviously is at the same/close level as EJ200.

That's my mistake. I confused WS-13 with WS-21, but the current WS-21 is still far from EJ-200. I'm still looking forward to the new advanced medium thrust engine WS-19.

Are you sure we know enough about ws-21?
Its specific parameters are still unknown, but it was improved from WS-12, in which reference was made to the experience of WS-13E (a domestic alternative power scheme for FC-1 and JH-7), but the parameters of EJ-200 are outstanding in the medium thrust engine, which is comparable to the latest improvement of F-414. In comparison, the technical route of WS-21 and many revealed data show that it still has distance. That's why I hope to see WS-19

Idk where ws-12 came from, it's long dead. General consensus was that ws-21 is more or less f-414 version of ws-13.

"Outstanding parameters" are still there(though it's a 30 yr engine at this point), but wet thrust is nothing magical. It isn't the only parameter there's to engines.
