Those Japanese who accuse the Chinese "communists" for spreading "anti-Japanese" propaganda are obviously living in denial. Japanese WWII atrocities is not an invention of the CCP, its in everybody's grandfather WWII stories in Asia and the West. Everyone cannot be wrong at the same time.

Unlike the Germans, who have managed to separate themselves from their Nazi era (at least they tried), the Japanese have refused to do the same. Instead of genuinely repenting, the Japanese nationalists the have turned to historical revisionism, which inevitably invites condemnation.

Since I am posting charts, might as well post this one.

Some of you guys may recognise it. It's from MacroPolo's AI talent tracker. The left side is bachelor, middle is master's and right side is PhD. The left side is the most important, because it tells you the baseline talent pool. India produces a modest amount of the elite AI talent in the world.

But remember: India is hugely oriented towards software engineering. So this is their home strength. Many engineers in Europe go into the automotive or aviation industry. For China, it's even broader than that.

So even for India's strongest competitive area, their contribution is very modest given their garguantuan population size. There is simply no "vast talent pool" in India. Most H1B workers are not the elite and most don't work in AI. They are working middle-class jobs for lower wages.

The biggest "advantage" for companies is that H1B workers are essentially indentured servants. If they lose their jobs, they get sent home packing. So they will accept worse pay and worse work conditions. Something native-born Americans won't. For a hiring company, they are ideal. That's the main function of H1B. China already has problems with 996 culture and involution. Lack of talent isn't China's problem but work-life balance for its best workers. H1B-type immigration would not fix that. Only make it worse.
What is source of this chart? just reading below interview Russian scientific abilities are at different level qualitatively and than quantity should 4th in size. just look at scale of new universities and schools they are building.

InfographicsShow: US is the world's ultimate peacekeeper and the one who brings prosperity, everyone should always cherish US as the sole superpower rather than destroy it. Because US' fall will definitely bring us to WWIII.

Russia has 20% of Ukraine and that is very stable. it changed few percentage from beginning but improvement in sensor technology can observe and fire control much larger area. Area control is not criteria untill conclusion of conflict.

regarding using force in distant lands as criteria for Super Power. Syria is as distant from Russia (avoiding Turkish air space) as US was to Iraq. (US was fighting minority while Russia was fighting majority). Russia won Syrian war but US didnot win this Iraq conflict. If Russia did not decisively won that Syrian conflict it would not be able to fight this Ukraine on this scale which no one can replicate.
just this one report will give you clue that they were closely observing that conflict. imagine what they watching in Ukraine now

Russia comments on the killing of dozens of Turkish soldiers in Idlib

Sky News Arabia obtained a video clip showing the moment an airstrike was launched on a group of Turkish soldiers, killing dozens of them in Idlib, northwestern Syria. The short video, which was later circulated on social media by Syrian activists, shows a group of soldiers apparently trying to take cover from airstrikes, while the sound of at least one explosion can be heard in the background.

Yeah but it's even worse that the ROC right now is hijacked by pro Japanese traitors. Not to mention the Americans are literally telling us to let it go when the Japanese made it clear that they will do it again when they have the chance. To add insult to injury the US is literally the reason why Japan denies it's war crimes because they did it themselves.

They can’t seem to catch a break this year WTF???
Thank fuck I am not living in the USA. Trump is determined to make the USA a white man paradise, without realizing that the current USA is nothing without its minorities. The nation is becoming completely stupid and there is no way back. To hell with this insane nation, they somehow expect other nations to invest in it when the US seriously offers nothing in return

AI is split into many specialities and sub-fields, with varying but limited cross-over with software engineering. Just because there is coding involved does not mean a software engineers will be suited for AI. There are far more mathematics and statistics involved with AI than computer science. It is best to think of AI and software engineering as separate disciplines with some minor but not impacful/meaningful overlap.

Software engineers can be involved in AI applications and AI infrastructure, but these engineers dont really meet the criteria for top AI talent.
