Assuming their claim that the S-400 managed to GTFO in time — doesn’t that prove that the system wasn’t able to counter C-400M? Isn’t the whole point of air defense to shoot down hostile missiles?
Shooting down harmless missiles isn't a goal, it's waste. Furthermore, shoot and scoot is 101 for AD, as comromised positions are vulnerable by default (any AD can be overwhelmed, or leak).
Finally, moving AD batallion can't shoot anyway.

Hi,
if one can agreed to GTFO for S400 without been bothered by C400M but why
not we will be able to see whole package of S400 behind Modi‘s unwanted speech
on their air base it’s no point of having missiles displayed behind you with the firing
mechanism with it
thank you

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Someone should just spam them with the free digital version of AFM-magazine-it's basically globally affirming the true PAF version of the May 7 Sindoor air battle-and with the new H1B exclusions etc -it's been a grill marked chicken tandoori week. I am SO thankful it wasn't 6 PAF Chinese J10's/JF17's that were downed-can you imagine the hellacious noise/chest-beating/threats from the jaihinds-BTW all countries including China should lock out these fraudulent H1B "engineers/techs" with their New Delhi basement degrees-if they're such geniuses ,let them help india to supapowa status.

We have on record that at least one S-400 operator was killed during Op Sindoor, right?

The Indians initially claimed he went on a sudden vacation but later his funeral was leaked to the media. So if the S-400 managed to get away from harm's way, how did he die on that very day?

Seems like the stories keep getting tangled.

At this point I'm beginning to give up tying this all together. It's so confusing at this point.

NDTV is proudly showcasing the production line of the Tejas Mk1A.

The NDTV host is proud to declare that the aircraft is as good as any contemporary fighter in the world. HAL says that the next batch of Mk1A is going to be armed with the Meteor AAMs.

NDTV is also happy to announce that Tejas Mk2 is projected to begin it's maiden flight by the end of this year. Then the Mk2 is expected to be ready for manufacture by 2030.

For a fighter project that began in 1984, the Tejas fighter program is progressing rather well in 2025. It's a proud moment for India. Jai Hind!

Well, if it starts rolling, it is.
Curious they specify only next batch will integrate meteors, though.
Something will prevent first one?
They never mentioned why. We can only speculate that the Tejas Mk1A is currently not ready to carry the Meteor missiles. Knowing how the Indian media likes to announce speculative military news, it remains to be seen if Tejas could eventually carry the Meteor missiles. Or maybe it's just more hot air. Like how Kaveri and Uttam were supposed to be used by the Tejas.

Uttam(and indian jammer) aplearito be in pipeline. Which is ironic, b/c effectively that will create fundamental separation even within mk.1a fleet. A bit strange, maybe narrator indeed didn't understand what he was told, but integration problems isn't overly unusual story.
I wonder if it's connected to sindoor.
But will be interesting if we'll see a squadron or two of intermediate mk.1a without meteors, then some with them, then more indigenous ones(notional mk.1b). And only then mk.2
