You know, I got to admit, that I find it incredible, that the Indian government and the Indian chattering classes, are just so remarkably stupid. It is beyond belief.

How we describe some of President Trump's zany policies are stupid beyond belief, well the Indian government and Indian chattering classes been doing that for decades.

Just seemed to me, that after President Trump attacked India with those tariffs pertaining to Russian oil purchases, the India government and Indian chattering classes took great offense, and tried to do something.

The point is, and that they cannot accept, India is India. It is a powerless giant. America was their meal ticket, and now look at the relationship.

I think half of the Indian chattering classes were either in denial, or thought they were playing 3-D chess, that this spat over Russia oil would blow over, and India being complimentary to American economy, and natural reset will happen. No need to really put more of it lot with China and the BRICS.

So stupid. We cannot reiterate this enough. Their policy choices and thinking of their elite is stupid beyond belief. Half of them probably thought it could not get any worst?! Bah!

No more H-1B visa. How significant is that?

America was India's meal ticket. And they botched that up. All because some rich people in India wanted to do some free money deals. It was not even a policy devoted to the people, but probably just a handful of Indians who wanted that oil money.

For that, the H-1B visa applications pay the price, forever, as that is their life hopes denied.

Unbelievable. This is a way to run a country?

Stopping Brain Drain is delusional, especially in case of lack of industry and lack of capital and most of all risk taking. Hilarious to think chip companies will spring up.

Oh no! ByteDance admits on its official WeChat account this morning, that a deal has been made between President Xi & Trump. Finally, it all becomes true. Trump is turning TikTok (America) into another his "state-owned" company, just after Intel. Though not likely for free this time.:eek:

If Xi asks to acquire Apple (China) 's share otherwise ban Apple in China, will Trump sell it?

China's rise causes after effects in unexpected ways. China hasn't even done anything against South Korea recently when it comes to geopolitics. But they start hating China to these extreme levels just cause they see and hear China's rise in the news?

Guess who is behind it?

This protest was actually organized by a student group from Freedom University, a South Korean institution, with many participants being current students who belong to a unique local movement called K-MAGA (Korea's version of "Make America Great Again").

Why does Charlie Kirk hold significant influence among young people in both the U.S. and South Korea?
The reason lies in his affiliation with the American conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, which has established chapters in 3,500 high schools and colleges across the United States. Its mission is to instill conservative and Christian values in young people, molding them into future MAGA successors. The Korean K-MAGA group has largely replicated this model: building campus networks, forming conservative clubs, and maintaining close ties with right-wing organizations in the U.S. One of their key organizers is Korean-American Mina Kim.

So, what does this have to do with China?
The answer involves another controversial figure—Morse Tan, also a Korean-American and a staunch Trump supporter. He established the Korean Conservative Political Action Conference (KCPAC), modeled after the U.S. Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). It was Morse Tan who connected Mina Kim with Charlie Kirk. He also facilitated ties between Pastor Sun Hyun-bo (phonetic translation) of the World Mission Society Church of God and American political circles. Pastor Sun subsequently launched the "Save Korea" movement, aiming to pressure the South Korean government to release former President Yoon Suk-yeol, who was impeached during martial law.

In an interview, Mina Kim expressed her views on Yoon Suk-yeol:
"The National Assembly of Korea has been heavily infiltrated by foreign forces colluding with China. They drastically cut government budgets and impeached Yoon’s cabinet members, preventing him from fulfilling his presidential duties. This forced him to order martial law. Another key institution, the National Election Commission, is largely composed of judges who have been bribed and colluded with the Chinese government, leading to Yoon’s impeachment, removal, and prosecution."

Why do they hold such absurd and tragic beliefs?
This leads us to an old acquaintance: Gordon Chang. It was he and Morse Tan who co-founded KCPAC.

Though not directly admit any details of the deal, but it does mean a deal is made & will take effect. So any idea about what the deal will be like?

Does not matter.

Since there are no details, that means this is a defeat for the United States.

Americans like to boast about their society and values, about freedom and transparency.

The first Trump administration demanded TikTok be sold to American interests or face being banned.

Now this deal might happen, and the Americans do not want to say anything, like they have no information.

That is all we need to know on who is not winning.

They weren't stupid because some rich people in India wanted good deals, they're stupid because they thought simply being a "democracy" and antagonistic towards China was enough to win them permanent goodwill with the west, so they used that as an opportunity to just do whatever they wanted to do without thinking of the consequences. My goodness, I've never seen a country that doesn't understand responsibility like India, outside of Russia they've pissed off every major power.

Indians are talking non stop about how this will benefit India as all the "talents" will move back and how US companies will outsource more. Trump needs stop outsourcing next. That will be the death knell for India.
Trump has already spoken about bringing IT helpdesk back to the US. Indians really have to be one deaf to think he can't simply impose a huge tax penalty on companies that outsource to India.
