Just trade and security isn’t enough; for countries to jump ship China needs to offer a viable alternative to the USD. The day that happens is the end of US hegemony.

Why is also why Trump is attacking BRICS so hard and forcing India to publicly commit to the dollar.
Regime change and exploiting corruption is all it takes to pull countries back to USA.

Right now is the best time in history for all countries in the globe to move away from the US without fearing retaliation because the latter has too much on it's plate to handle, while the former can benefit from mutual support of other countries doing the same.
Unfortunately, the "Global South" simply refuses to act like a bloc. You can say anything you want about the west but you have to be able to admire how they can unite and push their interests.

I know the guy got shot but this is an American thing. Its internal affairs.
It's so normalized for average Europeans ("Left" or Right) to think they are somehow Americans now...... It's the natural state. Their souls and emotions are determined by news on the other side of the Atlantic....... This social engineering by USA to subdue a people so thoroughly is actually awe inducing.

Boris who?

This is what happens if you are an occupied "country".

Next time someone tells you that China wants to replace the US to be the next hegemony:

After WW2 the US essentially took over Imperial Japan to become the next colonial power in East Asia. In South Korea, they took over the IJA's comfort women system and rebranded it into the Camp town system. I assume they used the same system too for Taiwan and the Ryukyu (Okinawa).

Americans also used former Japanese collaborators to govern South Korea. Such as guys like Takagi Masao (Park Chung-hee). Everything is justified as long as it is wrapped up in anti-communism.

That is why South Korea is truly a colony of the US. They are upset about the comfort women of WW2, but are somehow silent about the Camp towns.
