Well, for the record, if this system was deployed in Venezuela, it could shoot down Air Force One above DC Which is only around 3200 km away.
And China is obligated to start satellite internet in Brazil by the end of this year meaning their constellation will be sufficiently built out to provide continuous coverage over the those longitudes.
That would of course be a deterrent to the sitting president who might then consider it not worth attacking Venezuela.

It is literally stated in the officially commentary that CJ-1000 can attack air targets. Moreover, PLA's efforts to develop 1000km+ SAMs were known to be underway for years now.
HQ-29 can also probably target Subsonic planes 2-3000 KM away.
