I love seeing the cope coming out of the Western media over the gatherings in China. They actually think this is all a show staged for them to make them insecure. Well... mission accomplished. Why the easy turn against India after they wanted to use India against China even when India's reliability as a partner is still in flux? Of course like I've been saying in this forum, Westerners are highly insecure when anyone in the diplomatic world stage here all the way down to the streets of the US, they don't like anyone not them talking to one another without their permission, involvement, and supervision because they think it's all about conspiring against them. I saw one news commentator this morning say that this was a gathering of those that want to hide crimes in the world... Ever hear about Gaza, the worst human rights and war crime against civilians happening right now that they're doing nothing about? Look at their imperialistic nature that they can't help from resurfacing. They're call for replacing Xi Jinping and redrawing the borders of India. Then why don't they do that?
The only countries that are sticking with the West are the ones that are holding on to and believing in the romanticism of the West and not because they're the beacon of light in the world. MAGA looks at all the countries gathered in China and involved in BRICS as the worthless countries in the world... and they have all the strategic resources the West need to run their economies. Trump is how the US saves face where they'd rather strong arm countries into doing what they want because the alternative makes them look weak. So all the countries that go along with US essentially have the minds of abused women that have to stick with their abusers because they've been brainwashed into thinking they're nothing without the US. Of course, they're stuck in this dilemma where if they stick with the West, they save their place even though not equal with Western countries, it's still higher than everyone else. If they don't stick with the West, they have to earn their place starting from the beginning.

No, the countries that stick to the US do so because their ruling class and elites rose to their positions via US/CIA/USAID assistance, their kids are driving Mazeratis to attend school in the US, and their ill-begotten millions from corruption and plundering/selling out their own nation are sitting in American hedge funds.
That's not entirely accurate. India has been successfully unified several times in the past but all of those times were under a foreign or non-Hindu leadership (Buddhist, Islamic). The real problem for modern India is the Sanatan Hindu elements in governance which do not have a proper system to handle all religions and ethnicities; they’ve never been able to develop a proper Sanatan-led governance system in history.

One option was in the 1940s on which the current India was intended - a secular state. But that secularism never occurred; Hindus wrote religious elements into the Constitution and later, bypassed secularism with Sanatan Hindu practices.
