Skin cancer is also very prevalent among Israelis. It's pretty obvious why - they are white Europeans originally, not made for the sun. Minimal to no melanin = sunburn, repeated exposure = cancer.

A chunk of the population suffers from drought and/or water shortages throughout the year, and when water comes in abundance, it brings destruction. Why can't this abundance be put to good use by building proper reservoirs?

The US' "Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC)" spreads lies and rumors about China everywhere and has no credibility at all. The US Ambassador to Panama has instigated certain Panamanian lawmakers to join this "alliance" and tie them to the US anti-China chariot, which is despicable, the Chinese Embassy in Panama said in a spokesperson's statement released on Wednesday Beijing time. To cobble together anti-China "cliques" around the world has been the US' usual tactic to contain China.

China should put all IPAC members on sanctions list and ban all Chinese company having any association with them. Then create a Chinese version of the US Foreign-Direct Product Rule, to give us excuse to arrest or extradite them at any opportunity if they possess so much as a thread that was made in China.

Likely will not. Born and raised in the west. Would go to another white country first if he ever leaves the US

Damn when I first posted about his funding cut, I thought it was just a temp thing that could be resolved. But it seems its a big enough deal for him to consider leaving.

Anyway the best option for him is probably going to Hong Kong. Technically his parents are from there plus they studied there. He can speak Cantonese while the actual stuff is still formally done in English since its an official language. It makes far more sense going to Hong Kong than China which will have too much cultural difference.
