Looking back at the new IFV, I am convinced it is using a new 40mm cannon with telescoped ammunition. For example, on the right side of the turret there looks to be a hole where spent casings eject - similar to the CT40 cannon found on British Ajax. This feature is not found on the left side of the turret. Here's a quick and easy illustration to prove my point. What do you guys think?

Don't think it looks large enough to be 40mm. Looks closer to 30mm, though the barrel shroud makes it kinda hard to tell. Also from what we know of the chinese CTA 40mm it ejects from the other side.1756113741661.png

It looks similar in size to the CT40 cannon IMO. Also, it's possible they switched the ejection port to the right side maybe because this new cannon is a newer design.

I think so, too. But I did not notice the ejection port at the time because I was thinking it must be on the left side of the turret like the CS/AA5.

Also from what we know of the chinese CTA 40mm it ejects from the other side.

On this IFV, now it makes sense to me that the designer moved the ejection port to the right side to use the piping as the bearing axis for the coaxial MG that is on the right of the cannon. The CS/AA5 does not have a coaxial MG.
