Instead of seeing that meant your intelligence sucks, they cope that ussr cant build an air superiority plane as good as usa when ussr meant to create an interceptor in the first place.

Why, there's nothing new about Chinook. It's an obsolete design that could be either taken over by conventional helicopters or tiltrotors.

These are taken from two papers written by the successive lead designer of AVIC Helicopter, interestingly the last picture comes from the conclusion of the old lead designer of AVIC Helicopter's paper who now is the Vice Dean of CAE. He specifically said Quad tiltrotor could be a solution to both low speed maneuverability and high speed/high range. Guess what, CAE is currently funding that quad tiltrotor demonstrator.
Is this one for the military or civilian (or both)?
It's this, this was back in 2024 February. It's a civilian demonstrator with funding from the Chinese Aerospace Establishment (CAE). Most people think this will be a Blue Whale type large transport. IDK whether the PLA will have too much utility for that, maybe PLAGF for fast deployment operations? It'll be too large for the Navy and Airforce don't really need this. But if they do indeed want this, it definitely should be able to be militarised.
