Can current 3rd gen tanks with 120/125mm cannons even reliable destroy such concrete buildings with HE lol?

Suppress/breach? Absolutely, both 105 and 125 will do. Better with smart HE.
Destroy? Highly inefficient, something much more massive is needed. And 'highly' means that something similar to AVRE shell is likely a starting point.
Also, I wouldn't call Eastern Europe especially strong. Any modern prefab reinforced construction is quite likely to be equally or more annoying.

Well, if the rumors of this 105 being a very fast autoloaded cannon or even an autocannon similar to the ARES gun is true then I doubt explosive mass per second is going to be an issue with this thing.

Its likely just internet speculation. I don´t see a point in doing something like that.

Given how the Type 10 can overclock it’s autoloader to a 3-4 second reload “burst” speed for a 120mm gun, I don’t see 2 second reloads for this new light tank being something completely unfathomable.

Because its unpractical. Whenever you fire your optics will be obstructed by flash, smoke and debris for about 5-7 seconds. Which of course doesn´t happen in videogames so people have this weird obssession for autoloaders to sling shots like they are some kind of machinegun.
It could be that this tank`s 105mm actually doesn´t use the regular format but that would be very surprising because of how inneficient would be to have to set up production capability for a different and incompatible 105mm ammunition wih the 105mm guns they already have in service.

They will have to make new ammo anyways; this thing is a smoothbore and being constrained by crappy old standards is terrible. The PLA should move on ASAP. Second fast autoloader isn't all that bad considering it takes about a second or so for the dust to clear.

Seriously doubt optics are obscured by barrel flash and dust for that long, especially if the tank is moving. Gun optics are offset and I have no idea where you’re getting the idea that target acquisition can be lost for a full 5-7 seconds after firing… WW2? This is a new gun, very likely firing new ammunition with at least a slightly changed format. I seriously doubt commonality with the old rifled 105 is a top tier concern.

Just wait a few weeks and this will get clarified. I´m just saying that it would make all the sense in the world to keep the traditional 105mm format but with new propellant technology. As for a rotating chamber, thats not compatible with a bustle autoloader which would bring us to what is on the bustle anyway if not the autoloader in question.

I´ve watched tons of footage from Ukraine and Gaza. I´ve seen optics obscured for far longer in practice and here we are talking tanks with some of the best FCS out there.
