Now we know the specific designations: the wave-rider HGV is YJ-17, the bi-cone HGV is YJ-20, the HCM is YJ-19, and there's also a YJ-15 suspected to be the next-gen successor to the YJ-12.

Speaking of which - Imagine multiple YJ-17s/19s/20s appearing and zooming towards your ship(s) somewhere in the middle of the Pacific from out of nowhere.

Oh, and should the multipack VLS tubes on the 095/A SSNs be able to carry all of them in tri-pack/quad-pack configuration (considering that all of these missiles should be UVLS-capable) - The 093B SSN should be able to do the same with their individual VLS cells, too.

So, yeah.

Well, final question is where is the 095. It should be launching anytime now.

So, yeah.

The 09V is likely to have tubes which are tripack in nature (three individual VLS tubes per overall tube), but 09IIIB has individual tubes in rows of 3 (based on satellite imagery, likely in module blocks of 2x3 individual VLS tubes for a total of 24 tubes).

But yes, 09IIIB and 09V are likely to share similar payload varieties, it's just that the arrangement of their individual VLS tubes are likely to be different.

Well, final question is where is the 095. It should be launching anytime now.

Well that's a whole different thread and topic.
Acknowledging some of these payloads are going to be for 09V (and likely 09IIIB) is different to talking about 09V itself

To answer your question, considering it's a submarine, we probably shouldn't expect any up to date estimates of when it will emerge and chances are we may not even get grapevine rumours for its launch until some time after the fact, and it'll be luck of the draw if a commercial satellite imagery provider is asked to photograph its launch if they can capture it to begin with.

But there's no reason for further 09V specific discussion here, and even asking for when it'll emerge imo is going to not have any fruitful answers.

The YJ-17 might be a naval version of the DF-17, the YJ-15 is likely the VLS-borne version of the YJ-12, and the YJ-20 seems to be merely the real designation for what was previously known as the YJ-21.

So the only new system displayed so far seems to be the air-breathing YJ-19.
