IMO, this is the one angle at which this bird actually looks pretty good.

Chinese fighters have always had exceptional underside silhouettes (J-20, J-15, and now J-36 and J-50/XDS), so I'm not surprised. I attribute this to China's willingness to explore new aerodynamic flight profiles than the standard tailplane designs.

Its only the J-35 that looks a bit vanilla.
