These are very pleasant graphs but how did they come up with single man served 12.7mm HMG, mortars and a weapons squad in platoons...
PLA TO&E is Indeed classified but company and platoon structures presented don't make any sense even for hypothetical world building.
The squad organization is close to observations from video clips tho.

Since the regular PLANMC marine brigades are already well documented, does anyone have any resources on the ORBAT of the PLANMC special operations brigades and aviation brigade? I’ve been trying to look for sources in English and Chinese but have only found incomplete scraps of information. In the DoD’s 2024 Annual Report on the PLA, it only mentions that marine SOF brigades consisted of at least three special operations battalions and one reconnaissance battalion. The same report also only mentions that the aviation brigade consisted of two utility/transport helicopter battalions, but apparently the PLANMC demonstration team at the 2024 Zhuhai Airshow was from the air assault regiment (not a battalion or translation error?) of the aviation brigade. Any help would be appreciated.

What is known about the reserve artillery brigade in Shangrao (Jiangxi)? Is it known where it is located (coordinates), MUCD, vehicle number?

In conducting more research into the PLA Engineer Equipment of the PLA, I usually every now and then drop into the China Defense Blog for commentary and images and one post by (I think) 'Coatepeque' was on the numbering of the units. I could have sworn that this Thread had this information, but my searching skills are lacking so I am dropping the link. (moderators or members is this is incorrect please let me know).

Quote from the link;
LZ = Ground Central, LB = Ground North (Bei), LX = Ground West (Xi), LD = Ground South (Nan) and LD = Ground Dong. LJ= Ground xinJiang

LD21 - 71st Artillery Brigade, 71st GA reads Eastern Theater Command (LD), support brigade of the 1st Group Army, in this case, 71st Group Army is the rated 1st within the Eastern Theater Command.

LD32 - 124th Amphibious Combat Assault Brigade, 72nd GA, reads as, Eastern Theater Command, combat line brigade of the 2nd Group Army which is the 73rd GA

LD52 - 91st Amphibious Armored Assault Brigade, reads as, Eastern Theater Command, combat line brigade of the 3rd Group Army, which is the 73rd GA

My interest is in the 91st Amphibious Armored Assault Brigade b/c when it pops up in the news or press there are usually good images!
