The Russian Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies "Rubicon" has begun to form units with sea drones. We recently showed the declassified tests of sea drones during the "July Storm" exercises. Since there is practically nowhere to use sea drones now, it can be assumed that unmanned boats are being created to destroy maritime infrastructure, ports and ships located in them. According to Ukrainian experts, the Rubicon center can already organize group work of up to 400 sea drones. It is not yet clear what sea drones will be used, one of them looks like a modified sea drone "Orkan", it was shown earlier

In an Ukrainian scenario, demining beaches could be a thing for drones with mine-clearing line charge. Finding naval mine too maybe. Not a lot of infrastructures for these suicide drone ship to blow. Ûsing them elsewhere maybe.

Servicemen of the repair and restoration Russian battalion of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army, the West group of forces, showed the Shmel-1 tracked robotic platform. The remotely controlled ground drone is armed with four RPO-A Shmel infantry flamethrowers, single-use. The tracked drone has a factory design, but its model is not reported. The robot is designed to destroy enemy manpower, houses, fortifications and lightly armored vehicles. It is known that the drone can be controlled at a distance of up to 20 km. The firing range of the RPO Shmel-M is up to 1700 meters, it is in great demand in the troops.

Su-57 gets hypersonic missile

Chief of the Main Staff Lieutenant General Alexander Maksimtsev said the pace of deliveries of fifth generation Su-57 aircraft is increasing, along with modern aviation strike systems and hypersonic weapons

"In accordance with the state defense order, the Aerospace Forces annually receive advanced and modernized weapon systems. The pace of deliveries of fifth generation Su-57 aircraft is increasing, along with modern aviation strike systems and hypersonic weapons," the commander reported in an interview.

said the class of hypersonic missile in question remains highly uncertain, although it has been confirmed that an air-launched derivative of the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile currently deployed from Russian Navy surface ships and submarines was under development.

Integrating the Zircon onto the Su-57, which combines a very long range with advanced stealth capabilities, could significantly increase the threat to hostile shipping, particularly as the Su-57 fleet is projected to grow to several hundred fighters by the late 2030s. A number of advanced new missile classes have been developed for the Su-57, with state media reporting in October 2023 that a new class of very long ranged cruise missile based on the Kh-101/102 that equips strategic bombers had been integrated onto the fighter. The missile was smaller than the original Kh-101/102, but retained the same range, which is estimated at approximately 3,500 kilometers. This would provide the Su-57 with by far the longest engagement range of any fighter class in the world, and was achieved by "a significant reduction in the size of the new ammunition thanks to the perfectly refined design of the folding wing and internal layout, as well as the use of a new small-sized bypass turbojet engine," the Military Watch Magazine said.

There remains a significant possibility that a compact air-launched hypersonic missile class developed for the Su-57 would also be deployed more widely across the Russian fighter fleet, particularly as the Su-57 is currently fielded in only a single regiment. It was confirmed in late July that the fighter’s primary class of air-to-air missile, the R-77M, had begun to be deployed by frontline Su-35S fighter units, raising the possibility that it could later be fielded much more widely in the fleet. Making new missile classes developed for the Su-57 compatible with a wider range of fighters could also strengthen their prospects when competing for export orders. A leading candidate to field hypersonic air-launched weapons remains the MiG-31K/I strike fighter, which has been used to launch Kh-47M2 ballistic missiles multiple times, and has been reported to be intended to also launch an air-launched variant of the Zircon missile. The Zircon’s much smaller size would allow the aircraft to launch multiple missiles per sortie, the magazine said.

If Onyx missile from ground is 1000km and that is supposed to be slower than Zircon than aircraft version of Zircon should have more range. and this article regarding the next hypersonic missile KH-95 mentioned that it should be launched from outside the zone of fighters. meaning they are expecting even longer range AAMs. this article mentioning Kinzal 3000km range. earlier they said greater than 2000km.

New hypersonic missile Kh-95 for the Russian Aerospace Forces - hits further and more powerfully
It takes time and resources to destroy any missile. There is practically no time to react to a missile falling at a speed of 8-12 Mach (8-12 times the speed of sound), and existing air defense systems will not be able to shoot it down, even the now-advertised laser ones. At the same time, the range of the Zircon and Kinzhal is (according to information from various sources) up to 1000 and up to 3000 kilometers. So what, exactly, is the military lacking?
The answer here is quite simple: no one wants to lose their bombers and fighters. At the moment, the most effective (albeit inconvenient) way to launch these missiles is a carrier aircraft. The thing is that launching a missile is not a one-way process. While the aircraft are working on targets, they will try to shoot them down with the help of fighters, and the combat radius of modern aircraft exceeds 2 thousand kilometers with refueling, and Russian bombers (fighters) will have to willy-nilly enter the sphere of destruction of enemy aircraft. This is where the urgent need for completely new hypersonic missiles appears.
The capabilities of the new hypersonic missile were supposed to be much greater than those of existing ones. This was the only way to achieve the military's goals: to deliver a significant blow to the enemy while preserving its own aircraft. However, this only became known in early August 2024, and then completely by accident. An interesting article from the head of the Military Academy of the General Staff was published in a publication owned by the Russian Ministry of Defense. It discusses ways to achieve superiority in the military space sphere, and among other things, mentions a certain Kh-95 missile, which is not in service with the Russian Armed Forces. This is a new hypersonic weapon, and its main difference from previous ones is its increased range. No information about the development of a long-range hypersonic missile has been announced until now.

UMPO makes the AL-41. The Su-34 engines were made by Salyut, the AL-31FM1, don't think they switched to AL-41 yet.

Its UMPO engine. as they mention Su-34 in SVO zone. Su-34 production increase is exponential. and Putin also mention task in SVO. These mechanical engineering firms that has influence from Kazan are miles ahead. Putin explain the reason.

Su-34: "combat drake" in the SVO zone

Heart for Su-34

The bomber itself is assembled in Novosibirsk, and its engines are manufactured in Ufa. The Ufa Engine-Building Production Association is also part of Rostec as part of the United Engine Corporation. It is easy to guess that if the number of bombers produced has increased exponentially, then in the case of engines, this already considerable number must be multiplied by two, since the Su-34 has two engines

Putin explained why he considers Bashkiria a special region

The President also noted the republic’s responsible attitude to fulfilling the tasks of the SVO
