Calm down bud. Why be so confrontational
It's a legitimate issue. Just because china talent is deep doesn't mean china should make it easier for the west.
The govt already put limits in place for visas for those deemed core engineers and scientists. Obviously they also see the strategic value.
Just should have anticipated this and done it earlier. But better late than never.
If you consider being called "Taiwanese" confrontational, that's your perception, lol
I guess if I called you "Indian", it'd be flame war
Again, you can only hold people back a certain extent, otherwise you become the old USSR.
I really don't get the hype. Its just a variant of the Russian P-800 Oniks which is already an outdated design. Russia uses much newer stuff in Ukraine now. The way Jai Hinds talk is as if this thing came from Shiva himself or something.
IMO, at least BrahMos is something working. The ones I listed are total sh*tshows...
Arjun, Tejas - 40 year old projects in limited production
LCH/Dhruv - Numerous crashes, exported to Ecuador which gave up on them
Akash - Late 60's/70's technology, might have been involved in friendly fire incident, recently rejected by Brazil
INSAS - Picture says 1000 words
That quality engraving work!
Exported to Nepal and blamed for failing during a firefight in which 43 troops were killed and others captured.
semi-sh*tshow
Astra MRAAM - Only ~200 purchased of Mk-I vs. 1000 R-77's. However, you could partially blame this on the Tejas.
Honorable mention
Su-30MKI - Not an Indian product, but famously touted for ToT (Indian defense discussion's favourite acronym) in the late 90's. Still not fully indigenized to this day.
