Lieutenant General
Remember those US soldiers that foiled a terrorist plot on a French train that Clint Eastwood made a movie about? Something like a year later after suffering severe injuries fighting the terrorist and holding him down, the main guy was in his hometown of Sacramento, CA where he was at a bar and he saw a Vietnamese man abusing his girlfriend. He chose to intervene and the abuser and his friends along with the girlfriend that he was abusing attacked him and he ended up in the hospital again with injuries he suffered. Because this guy was famous, the incident went international. The Vietnamese community in Sacramento then tried to claim the assailants were Chinese not Vietnamese. Even though some of them were arrested and their identities are "known" and are of public record, Vietnamese know they can try to blame it on Chinese because plenty of Americans don't know the difference and don't care and are racist and will use any excuse so they can hate. And the Vietnamese exploited this. And I hear a lot of Asian ethnicities do this to cover-up and by default lie and blame the Chinese for their people's actions.
